On Monday, Paul Davis Fencing Academy welcomed Maple and York House Schools on their first foil Match in the Herts School Fencing League. All fencers were a credit to their schools and the Academy and showed great sportsmanship and determination on every point.  Maple School fencers took the lead from the start and worked hard to maintain that advantage throughout the match. York House fencers determination was truly commendable and we look forward to their performance on their second match.

All League matches provide a valuable experience for all school fencers who might be relatively new to the sport and might be using Electric fencing for the first time.

We would like to thank our Referees for the night, Scott and Daniel who encouraged school fencers to use skills practised on their School Fencing lessons and explained all awarded points to make sure making sure all fencers learnt from the experience.

We would also thank all parents for supporting the Herts School League; we value their encouragement and cheering during the matches.
