Paul Davis Fencing Academy welcomed two schools to the Herts School Fencing League on Monday. It was the first ever match for the Lyonsdown School fencers and the second in the League for York House fencers. Both teams fenced to very high standards and showed great sportsmanship. A special mention goes to George who got ten consecutive points and briefly put his School, York House in the lead. Zara took the lead back to Lyonsdown with her eight consecutive points back. It was an exciting match and both School fencers teams should be proud of their performance.

All League matches provide a valuable experience for all school fencers who might be relatively new to the sport and might be using Electric fencing for the first time.

We would like to thank our Referees for the night, Lucas, Archie, Andy and Tom who encouraged school fencers to use skills practised on their School Fencing lessons and explained all awarded points to make sure making sure all fencers learnt from the experience.

We would also thank all parents for supporting the Herts School League; we value their encouragement and cheering during the matches.
