Since founding the Fencing Academy we have had the opportunity to help countless students acquire foundational skills, develop new techniques and confidently move forward in their learning journey. As British Fencing's Club of the Year, we provide a wide range of courses to support students from all backgrounds and levels.
At the Academy we create environments that foster friendship, respect, hard work and reward success. We create sessions that are fun, engaging, and energetic and provide a service that is the same for all. We use Fencing as a tool to develop a child’s wellbeing and contribution to their local community.
FENCING BEGINNERS COURSES
The perfect introduction to the Olympic sport of Sword Fighting
Fencing sessions in the heart of St Albans at our purpose built Fenicng Centre. Taught by highly experienced coaches and all equipment provided. Discover your inner warrior! Calling all Pirates, Jedi's, Knights, and future Olympians. Take your first step into our world of sword fighting. Our 4 week beginners programme will have your child engage, inspired and active whilst learnig the art of sword fighting and developing essential life skills!

TRUST THE PROCESS
We know Fencers develop and progress at different times and with the right support structure our Members have proven themselves on the competitive stage. Competitions are not for everyone and there is so much to do as part of our Academy. But if you wish to compete, your Fencer will progress with the Academy, with the focus on a podium finish at the National and International Championships.
ACADEMY PROGRAMME
Our Academy training programmes are designed by experts in their field of Fencing. Our coaches have proven track records of nurturing, developing and supporting athletes from grass roots to the World Championships. The sessions are delivered by passionate and highly experienced Academy coaches.
